We recently linked to our Facebook page a newly created Facebook Group for everyone who has registered to attend our conference. It's only for conference attendees so every time someone asks to join a member of our staff has to verify their registration. The group has been very popular. Our attendees like the sense of community it builds and being able to interact with each other in a way that they can't on our page.
Because it has been so popular, we'd love to be able to create a Facebook Group that would specifically be for our members. With our members located all over the world, this would be an added benefit our members would really enjoy. The problem is that even though we could easily verify someone's membership, it would not be easy to remove them if their membership expired. That's a lot to track with over 3,000 members.
It would be wonderful if Facebook Groups could integrate with Neon so that membership in the Group is verified by our membership data in Neon. I'm sure this is a far-reaching suggestion, but it would be amazing if this could happen some time in the future.
