Release Notes: June 17th, 2013

We've released a new set of features in our R3 release. In addition to these, many fixes and improvements were put in place for the NeonCRM system. The full list can be found below. Each item in the list is either a new feature, an improvement to a feature that already existed, or a fix to a feature that previously needed some attention.

Improvement The "Gift Amount" has been retired from events. All events are now provided with an option to specify the Gift Percentage. The Gift Percentage is the percentage of the total cost of the registration, and it is now provided as a token in event reports as well as the header/footer of the default event email. WORK-1138
Improvement You can now mark someone as a former employee by editing their organization contact record through the organization account, and the "end date" flag should trigger the alteration of that field from "Yes" to "No" on the date specified. DEV-161
Improvement Improved the logic for dealing with split donations, specifically their interface with the mail merge queue WORK-1105

Reporting Changes

All donation reports now include the soft credit tab, which allows you to report on soft credit amount, date, recipient, and distributor. All reports also now allow you to select the number of records returned per page. Many reports have had the "Basic" tab added to their search criteria page. Details about each of the reporting changes are shown below.

Names and Addresses by Account Relationship

  • Added a magnifying glass which allows users to look up existing H/M records.
