Connecting MailChimp to NeonCRM
Before you can send email audiences to MailChimp, you must first connect your NeonCRM system to your MailChimp account. This is accomplished by obtaining a key from your MailChimp account and plugging it in to your NeonCRM system.
Log in to your MailChimp account. In the upper-right corner, click on your name, then Account.
Click on your name to find Account Settings. In the Extras tab in the navigation menu, find the link labeled API Keys.
Under Extras, click API keys.
Under Your API keys, click Create A Key. A key will be generated in the API Key column. Copy this key.
In NeonCRM, go to System Settings > Home/Dashboard > Third-Party Integrations > MailChimp.
On this page, paste in your API Key. Click the Test MailChimp Connection button to ensure the connection has been set up correctly.
Note: Everything's Chimpy! means your connection has been set up correctly.
If you receive an error message, ensure that you have entered your API Key correctly. Be sure that you have not added any extra spaces.
