Note: Please be aware that the system NeonCRM Standard Version of your Event Registration email and the Purchase Acknowledgement system email pulls in content differently than other system emails. These XML-driven system emails populate content in a more detailed way than is possible by building your own versions. For this reason, there are restrictions regarding the Build New Version function for these two emails that do not exist for other email types. 

Event Registration System Email - NeonCRM Standard Version

This XML-driven system email populates content that is not available in tokens when building your own versions, such as detailed information about:

  • registrants
  • attendees
  • ticket prices
  • sessions
  • payment information
For an example of the information that pulls into this email, please see the blank template shown below:

To edit the header and footer content, navigate to your System Emails list and click View next to the Event Registration system email.

From the preview page, click the Edit Header Content and Edit Footer Content buttons to customize the text and see the available tokens that can be placed here.

When editing the header/footer content, you will see a list of Available Tokens to the right of the page. These are the only tokens that can be used in the header/footer content of this email.

Click Save to submit your changes to the header or footer content areas. 


Copy NeonCRM Standard Version of the Event Registration Email

NeonCRM offers two options for creating new Event Registration acknowledgment emails:

1. Use the Build New Version button

Creates a simple email with basic account and event information available as tokens.

Note: this method allows greater freedom for layout and design, but will not support the same detailed information as the XML-driven NeonCRM Standard version.

2. Copy the NeonCRM Standard Version

Create a new version from a copy of the XML-driven email and set unique subject line, CC/Bcc, sender name, and/or header/footer content for that version.

Using the Copy NeonCRM Standard Version method

If you would like to create the functionality of the NeonCRM Standard XML-driven format in a conditional email, click Copy NeonCRM Standard Version.

You will then be allowed to add custom settings for this version.

View the copy to make changes to the header and footer of the email.

This copy can be set as default or given conditions just like any other version of the Event Registration Confirmation email.

Purchase Acknowledgement System Email

To edit the header and footer content, navigate to your System Emails list and click View next to the Purchase Acknowledgement system email.

From the preview page, click the Edit Header Content and Edit Footer Content buttons to customize the text and see the available tokens that can be placed here.

When editing the header/footer content, you will see a list of Available Tokens to the right of the page. These are the only tokens that can be used in the header/footer content of this email.

Note: It is not possible to make copies of the NeonCRM Standard Purchase Acknowledgment system email. We strongly recommend that you use only this NeonCRM Standard version.
