The Build From Existing option is available for System EmailsSystem Letters, and Campaign Emails.

For this guide, we will build a new System Email version but you can also build from an existing email when creating a new Campaign Email. The steps are the same.

Be sure to re-add any copied tokens using the Insert <<Token>> menu. This is particularly important if you copy the content from a different type of email than the one you are creating, as different tokens are available for different types of emails. Tokens only work properly when they are added by selecting them from the Insert <<Token>> dropdown menu in the email content editor. If a token is not listed, then it's not available for that type of email. If you try to enter the token manually, it will generate an error.
